The training covers all aspects of jump flight operations, including flight planning weight and balance, proper comms, jump door operation, emergency procedures and more. Advanced multi-engine jump pilot training also available. Call (406) 481-7130 for more information or to book your slot in an upcoming course.
Our program includes:
- 25 simulated jump runs
- 10+ hours high performance (182b) PIC
- Comprehensive ground school

We operate out of the Stevensville Montana airport (32S), which has a field elevation of 3,614′ and provides a 3,800′ paved and lighted runway. - At least 500 hours TT
- At least 15 hours as PIC in a Cessna 182
Being a skydive pilot is an abnormal role in the world of commercial aviation. It is a dangerous yet rewarding operation, with many variables on every flight.
That being said, jump piloting is an amazing way to build time and gain valuable experience. No other flying job offers as many opportunities for takeoff and landing cycles, as well as the freedom that comes with it. It really is one of the most ‘cowboy’ flying jobs.
During the course, you will accumulate at least 10 hours of PIC time in our 182, including a minimum of 25 simulated jump run flights, or actual jump flights. There will be 15-25 hours of ground coursework, covering aircraft, location-specific orientation, emergency flight scenarios, normal and abnormal jump runs.
The program takes 3-5 days to complete. We offer complimentary accommodations in our bunkhouse during your course. It is located just 10 minutes from the airport.
Cost: $4995
Includes:
- 10+ hours PIC/25 jump runs

- ~20 hours of classroom instruction
